Is this unethical?
I apologize if this is a dumb question, but I drive a 99 WS6 and I have a friend that drives an 06 CTS-V. Can we split the cost of HPTuners, buy an extra OBD-II cable and burn the software so we can each use a GM credit?
Also, if in the future when I get a GM truck, would I just buy another GM credit to be able to tune my WS6 and my truck? Thanks!

you only get 1 interface box for the purchase price, the OBD2 cable is worthless without the interface box. Interface boxes are only sold at full price, so you can easily buy the software and split it, but only 1 person can use it as a time.

no.... why would they allow you to do that? after you tune a car just unlicense it? lol, i dont think so, costs 2 credits per car, 2 credits per enhanced OS (which you probly wont use)
you can tune 4 vehicles after you buy hp tuners, but keep in mind, its not some magic software you turn on and click TUNE and it tunes your car... could spend money better in a mail order tune with frost or something

The little "pod" is where the license and interface
hardware reside so this is what you'd have to hand
back and forth. Credits, you both should fit into the
initial allotment. But you don't get to unlicense
once credits are committed.
