I run the SLP Performance tune on the SLP Predator with exact setup like "375HP" SLP Powerpac.
Everything is fine also with the 85mm MAF.![Embarassed](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_emb.gif)
My only trouble is: I can't find where I can set the speed governor off. I went through all the menu and nothing is related to top speed.
My car is a A4. It never pass on 4th with WOT and stays @5900rpm on 3rd. It's about 160-162 mph with a 2.73:1. It's pulling hard and suddenly fuel cutoff.
Could an SLP Predator user help me?

i also have the slp predator for my m6 02 z28. there is an option on mine for speed limit or something like that. also on slps website it says to use the slp maf with stock tuning only. i had the slp maf on mine and i swithed it back to stock after i saw that and the car felt like it picked up 20 horsepower.

A 4l60e won't shift into 4th when wide open throttle.

Very interesting, Thank you!
So to raise my top speed, I need to set the 3->4 shift rpm from 5900rpm to 6200rpm (rev. limiter) and clock a jolly 175mph. Right

As I recall, some came with crappy tires and had 117 MPH limiters, if your was so equipped, you should be able to disable the limiter int he modify tune menu.
Thanks

I asked this question once before regarding my vehicle over on Diablosport forums. The answer I got there was that for trucks etc there is the option to disable speed limiter/governer. However, on fbodys it is already removed in the canned/performance tune. I'm not sure if that is 100 percent accurate, but I know mine has no option for this either (I have similar setup to you I think OP). Either way, speed limiter on an fbody...? It would be set high enough that it shouldn't be an issue anyways right? Lol.

Speed limiters on these cars was directly related to what tires/suspension was originally sold on the car when new I believe. I think it is normally set to 162 mph although I have heard of some hitting 167mph in the right temps. Not safe to do on public roadways though I'm sure lol.

My Z28 is a euro spec, sold new with Good Year GS/C ZR rated (actually 162mph). Now there's some W (169mph) and Y (188mph) sizing 245/50R16.
With stock tune I reached 266kph / 166mph (needle). Our tach are 270kph or 169mph.
Living in Switzerland is close to Germany where a many highways are free of speed limit. It's not safe but legal. I've never been there with the SLP-Predator tune, so I only topped 150mph since.
I've not read that SLP tune was without speed limit and thought it was only a spark/fueling calibration. If it true that's cool.
It's better for your mind if the beast is really unleashed

No I think newer Slp versions in fact have the speed limiter disabled in the canned tune, as well as things like torque management (not the tranny TM, just the engine- the tranny TM must be disabled manually).
Someone please chime in if there is any misinformation here. We can't have false info spreading around about these things, they are confusing enough lol.

Gotta disagree, my z28 RS came with a 117 mph speed limiter, friends SS had a 160 mph limiter, with the diablo sport it allowed him to 170 (for the record, he was hitting the 170 speed limiter like NOTHING with just an exhaust and an intake... for all you nay sayers!!! and his speedo was DEAD on via gps)
