how come ATAP/Live works but Eidt will not connect?

Default how come ATAP/Live works but Eidt will not connect?
Lights blink like every other car, but wont hook up to one car in particular. Works on all the others

Are you using an edit cable? Is it a locked version only allowing x amount of vin numbers to be used? Is it a new edit cable that has never been used?

Same laptop and all? I had to choose a com port for mine to connect, and then set my hardware config to make it available.
