i drove it to work yesterday and i am having some oil pressure issues. when it gets up to about 195 degrees the oil pressure is dropping down to like 20psi at idle and goes up when you give it gas. but when cold or less then about 20 min it idles at 40 psi and goes up from there when you give it gas.. i think i might have a pinched oil pickup o-ring..WTF

this is an old thread, but since it's been brought back, the truth might as well be put on the table. why not go to xtreme? because chris harwood at xtreme is a procrastinator, his customer service is very poor, and you never know what your gonna get, or what parts are gonna be on your car when you get it back.......usually a two week job takes two months, sometimes more. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!

did this fix your issue(was it the o-ring?)? a buddy of mine is having a similar issue with his oil pressure.

ya, i changed the o-ring and the pump and know on cold startup it is about 60 psi at idle and 70 driving, after warm up it will drop a little, i can drive it 50 miles to work and the lowest it will drop is about 35to 40..i at a 900rpm idle..i still need tuning if anyone has the program..and dont recommend john weeks as he will take your cash and do half your tuning and never finish it or return your calls

Or you could tell the whole story Tom as to why I couldn't do it. I was working 15 hours days almost everyday for 2 months. That didnt' matter to you, as you didn't care. You called 2-3 times a day after I told you I was really busy at work and would call you when I got a spare moment. You were an *** about it basically demanding I do it because you wanted it done right now, I told you I wouldn't tune anything for you again and refunded 100 dollars to you. What you also didn't tell is that I came to your house to tune it the first time and the MAF didnt' work, the 02's wasn't even in the motor, the exhaust wasn't hooked up, it had 2 year old gas in it, all the plugs was fouled from where you drove it on a stock injector file with 42's in it, and I spent almost all night over there. I went out of the way to help you out with tuning, not to mention talking to you several times when the motor didnt' have any oil pressure. Guess you forgot all that huh? The world doesn't revolve around you bud, and with your attitude you can take your junk somewhere else to get any future tuning done. If you have anything you would like to say, give me a call.
