Default When to tune?

I have had all the mods listed below, but have not had the engine tuned as of yet. I have the HPP3 tuning in it, but added that way back when. Should I tune now or after I add the O2 sims (headers setting off SES)? Do I need to tune or can I just readd the HPP3 and see some difference? What kind of things do I need to know before the tune and what questions should I ask? I am headed to Don Lee Auto Service in Rancho Cucamonga, CA and have heard great things about their work. Just want to know what to expect, thanks.

The headers probably made your engine a little rich at WOT; the HPP3 will make it a little lean, and god only knows what the SLP MAF meter did to it. My sugestion is forget the O2 sims, dump the HPP3 and the SLP MAF, then go get it tunned or buy LS1edit and do it yourself using info from this board. The SES it's throwing can be cleared up with LS1edit; you don't need O2 sims.

i have the predator and u can get someone to tune all taht out too. my question is one, how do headers make it run rich and is this a true rich reading that can be tuned out? like is the motor really running rich or the sensors just think it is?

If I get it tuned, should I just take to a performance tuner or a dyno tuner? How much do each one generally cost? Anyone know of any in So Cal area?
