Does misfire detection work with Hptuners SD operating system?
Does misfire detection work with Hptuners SD operating system? Misfire dont' seem to work with my 3 bar sd hptuners operating system.
Is this just the way it is or what? Misfire detection is handy to have.

So whats with the hptuners guys.Can't they simply give that simple answer?
Its like pulling teeth over there.
Now have issue where misfire would be handy .Car seems to run good when hitting it in first and second. But couple times now went wot in third and fourth at lower rpms and it just makes a loud pop backfire and seems to cut out for a second. no harm done but no idea whats up with that. Thought my fuel and spark stuff is ok and for sure its not a revlimiter its set to like 6500.
So wondering if its a plug or something but of coures misfire don't work?? It seems to run smooth no boost or vacuum leaks don't think had smoke machine test done on it today.
What could make it pop at wot like that at lower rpm not really even into boost yet or not much.? I have to log the event..

That's why the MAF is still in the charge piping on my car, so I can revert to MAF mode if I need to troubleshoot something where misfires would come in handy.
Any popping at WOT sounds like a weak spark issue whether it be from a bad plug, wire, etc especially if it seems OK just driving around. Just driving around the weak spark may still fire correctly since there isn't much cylinder pressure compared to 20 psi WOT.

Ok but if have 3 bar sensor in there don't I have to swap it to one bar if put maf tune back in to check misfires?
Also it don't misfire at 20psi wot. Then it would for sure likely be plugs or wire or something.It seems to pull fine to 6500 in 1st and 2nd then in third or fourth if nail it at like 2000 rpm it tends to do that pop backfire hesitation type of thing.
