Recieved my tune from Ion (madz28) today and...
not trying to bash it but it felt ALOT faster with the Pcm4less tune.
Ok here is the breakdown. I had a pcm4less tune for (shorties, intake and exhaust). Then i got a yank 3000 stall and 3.73 gears and decided to with Ion for the next tune because ive heard he is great with SD tune (my 93). I put everything in and he is nice enough to include a print out of everything tuned.
I was running on the PCM tune not tuned for the new mods and it felt beastly, ofcourse it would shift at 4700 though lol Now that i got the tune for the stall and 3.73 gears it doesn't feel at all the same.
Couple questions, it says the shift points are set to 6k but it only shifts around 5k and i feel dead spots. I haven't gotten the speedo calibrated yet, so could this be why im not much impressed with the tune? I dont want to have to pay an extra 55 for a retune from pcm when i spent money on a tune already.
