Default Temp for Closed Loop

at what temp does the comp go into closed loop? is it based on iat or coolant temp at the head?

Coolant temp must be 92 degrees or 131 degrees depending on which LSx vehicle your talking about.

Seious question here. If you have any tuning software, you could see this on your own. If not, what possible difference does it make?

92 ECT. Pretty much all LS1s are 92 the newer stuff is 131.

I don't need tuning software. I pay someone reputable to do that. Give some know it all kid some tuning software and you've got the equivalent of a monkey with a machine gun.
