Burst knock
I did some logs yesterday and am pretty sure I am getting whats known as "burst knock" I did not tune my car so I dont know anything about it. I just know I would like to turn it off (zero it out). I just want to make sure its burst knock and not real knock.
My friend sent me the logs but I dont know how to post them up here.. could someone give me their email address and I can forward it to you to post here for me please?
thanks

You need to "Go Advanced" and "Manage Attachments"
is all.
Burst Knock and Knock Retard are two different things
and scan through two different PIDs. If you see short
advance without KR showing, you could have active
burst knock. Trucks have (at least, the models*years
I've looked at) a bad BK setup, too sensitive (goes
along with a lousy PE scheme, to cover that up).
