Default can i install 200MPH speedo background directlly ?

hi like the title says i have the 200 MPH speedometer Conversion, Black from Granatelli Motor Sports can i install it directlly ? it will work ? or it needs something to work ?

its gonna need to be calibrated/tuned or its gonna be off by ALOT lol

can i tune and calibrate it by Hp tuners ?

wouldn't see why not. You can go in there and tell your ecu what your speedo says can't you?

there was a whole big deal on it recently with 6LE and his gauges. He has a guy on his site that recalibrates them and its not cheap. But no, you cant calibrate them with HP tuners.

all he would have to do is play with the vss until it started reading correctly....its sort of the same as recalibrating fo a rear end gear....

the first and most obvious problem is that the speedometer and odometer are controlled by the same drive, so if you put some crazy gear ratio in there and had the speedometer reading correctly, the odometer is going to think you are going a good bit slower than you really are. go look at your speedo and look at his, 80 on yours is like 105 on his. so you screw up your odometer pretty badly. the only real way to fix those is to manipulate the gauges themselves
