With HPT ow Can I make my Converter Unlock all the way for down shift?

Hear is the thing,I nail it from a roll and it seems like the Conveter isn't unlocking all the way.So it doesn't give you that seat of the pants hard hitting put you in your seat when it down shifts.I have a 3800 Vig and my trans is Vacuum modded...Thanks!
