cannot tune with hp tuner. previously tuned with road runner
cannot tune with hp tuner. previously tuned with road runner i cant get he hp tuner to license my pcm. comes up as serial number yyyyyyy. tried to license a different rom to flash with but it still would not alow it to flash. any suggestions???
I can change the vin with HP Tuners or that won't work?
Should I be changing the VIN to the new flash we're trying to load also??

With a serial number of y's you can only do a year/model license since the serial number is what we lock to for single vcm licenses.
You can either have the pcm flashed to stock & then reread or just license the year/model then you'll be able to tune an unlimited amount of that year/model.
Its not a vin issue, its a unique pcm id number issue.
