Default VE tables

so what/how do you change your VE tables for engine mods or changing engine displacement size? such as my extreme of going from a stock 4.8 to a 6.7. i know they need to change, i just don't know how. is there even any kind of a formula for this? i compared several VE tables last night between 4.8, 5.3, and 6.0's of various years and they all increase with engine size, just not in any particular amount that i can tell. and what's the difference in them? would the crank VE table need to be changed if you aren't having starting issues?

VE is dependent on displacement. Here is a thread where ChrisB answers the exact question - which I had INCORRECTLY answered.VE .
ChrisB's LS1 Tuning analysis software incorporates the Change in displacement.
Hope this helps some.
I wouldn't think you wuold need to change the Crank VE. FWIW.

The VE calculation (in the link Texas Terminator cited) is included in the latest version of EFILive. I've looked at logs of VE, sometimes the instantaneous calculation can be way off (like 400+% on a N/A truck), but the average at certain RPM's can be consistent. Once my Edit arrives I may find the VE more useful...
