does anybody know about? i currently own a 98 TA and would like to upgrade to a 99 or 00 pcm but i can never find the wiring harness could i use the stock harness with a newer pcm?
You can re-pin the harness to work with a newer pcm. It's not too bad to do, a bunch of people here have done it including myself. You will need to reflash the new computer when you are done, do you have access to efilive or hptuners? Also as far as I know efilive is the only way to make your fuel gauge work with the new pcm. Hptuners might be able to do it now, I'm not sure. Some people have had to put in a new fuel sending unit and cluster to make the gauge work when using hptuners.
