2002 ECM 12206841 same as 12200411? I'm looking for a 2002 ECM with the 12212156 OS. I found one from a 2002 z28 with a service # 12206841. Is this an older number for the 12200411? I thought this was the one I was after. Are these identical? Does the 12206841 still have the latest 12212156 OS (if that is the latest os # for the fbody)?

Ok, well the dealer says this interchanges with the 12200411. I don't know if it was made obsolete, or they just migrated to the same part number and gave them different tunes for the different models. Any additional info would be appreciated. I don't want to purchase it if it is inferior to the 12200411. Thanks

If you're asking if it fits the same applications as the 12200411 PCM, according to Hollinger's interchange the answer is yes
As far as the OS question, I'm sure somebody will correct me if I'm wrong, I always thought there was only one version od each operating sustem, is they updated the OS the changed the number, since the number is how GM assures the vehicles have the current OS in them. Every time I've ever had an update flashed to a PCM by the dealer, it ended up with a new number fror that module or OS that they updated
