Default Newby problems in HPtuners with LS1 engine Swap

I have a LS1 out of a 2001 camaro. When ever I get on it surges and cuts out. I am new to HPtuners so I could use some help. Please help! Can't wait to get this 68 firebird on the road

[PCM] P0358 - Ignition Coil 8 Control Circuit (Old) (History) (Immature) I see this error but it shows it is old. So that currently is not the problem?

Most of those are emission related codes that shouldnt cause that problem. Judging by all the trans. codes are you using an older style trans? But back to your problem, are you loging with a wideband to make sure your not going lean? Do you have a sufficient enough fuel pump to provide 58-60 psi? Does the ignition coil 8 code come back after you clear it? Have you dataloged while trying to get it to act up, it should be pretty obvious where the problem is coming from after watching the log.

I changed the trans to a manual. The fuel pump is a new walbro 255 so that should suffice. Soon as I clear the codes in HPtuners it shows right back. I just dont understand why it still shows it as a history code after I cleared in Hptuners? Also what does imature mean?

Its there because it was a previous code that came up, as long as it doesnt say current I wouldnt worry about it anymore. Im not sure how many drive cycles has to happen before it gets out of the history. Not really sure about immature.

Thanks for the help. It ran great before I relocated the coil packs and now it has some issues. I made custom length wires and maybe I made a bad wire or two?
