They haven't been helpful for me. The guy sent me an instructions email. I had to download the performance tune from the car into the programmer, then I was supposed to go to troubleshooting and then read tune, but there is no read tune, so I cant get it converted so that I can put it on the pc. And that is where I am at now. I will probably end up sending it back to them for a tune, but they need to pay for shipping.

yea it sounds like something is deff not right with the way yours is working. i havent had any prob copying the program or troubleshooting but i cant get the program into my laptop to send them. I did notice my reverse lights are not working tonite not sure if its related or not ill try putting the stock tune back in tomm I really dont feel a big performance gain either I am frustrated enough to send mine back and tell them to keep it. I was thinking how cool it is not to have to change jets and advance springs- well at least they are easier to figure out than this computer crap

I agree, I had problems with them interfacing on my new Gateway, which is 3 months old. I found a 3 year old computer running Win98 and it worked great. My skip shift was eliminated though. And the James at RWTD has done custom tunes for me for each of my mods, esp. LT headers. Good luck

I can tell a difference in my tune, but did you check the baud settings on the com port and the programmer? that is usually the problem with the file transfer.

You bought a new Z28 and it had t rated tires on it?! The dealer screwed you right there. It's a Federal law that the tires have to meet what ever the speedometer high reading is. Even if you buy a 6 cyl car and it has a 160mph speedo then the tires have to be Z rated! Sounds like the dealer swaped wheels on you and then lowered the speed limiter.

If you look in Goodyear's list of tires and sizes for that car the ones that came on it were the second alternate size and recommended set for the ASR system. But it doesn't really matter now because I bought the car in April of 2001.

I am using the Predator with a PC running XP and have no problems. If you are using a USB to RS-232 serial adapter that is most likely the cause for the problems with communication. They have done custom tunes for me and I am quite happy. I wish they would release software so we could adjust/do a custom tune on our own PC so we did not have to wait for them. They would have a lot less to worry about also. Just my opinion though. I hope you get it working and I know how frustrating things like this can be.

YEEAA!!! I finally got it all straightened out. Johan at DiabloSport was very helpful and patient with me. Also thanks for your help Technoman. The stupid CAGS is gone and i sent him my LTFT #s and he tweaked the program for me - deff can feel a diff on the SOTP meter. I see the diff in the real time diagnostic LTFT #s from before and after - i think he leaned it out a bit. Does anyone know where to find some info on how to read the fuel trim and O2 #s how do their %s relate to A/F ratios etc. I need to learn more. All and all I am happy with the performance and the service from Diablo

Nice Dyno #s these things are monsters i havent cut the exhaust system off yet cause i really dont think im gonna see that big of gains over the WS6 system i think this is where the WS6 gets its power gains over the regular TA Im gonna spend the $$$ on SFCs and an underdrive I have been in contact with Kevin @ SLP - they have a new pulley that should be out by the new year, he tells me they have solved the harmonic probs. Now that you speed limiter is gone you better get some Z rated tires your gonna love how quick she jumps to 150

Good luck guys I can't even get Nike and the guys at Diablo to retrun my phone calls. I guess I have a programmer that is useless. I now have a new cam and would like to get it tuned but I guess I will spend my money some where else.
