Diablo Predator Programmers

Diablo Predator Programmers Has anyone else had issues with the Diablo Programmer? I bought one for my 01 z28 and am currently missing two programs from it. I have one the only camaros with a top speed limiter on it because my car had t rated tires on it when I bought it. The limit for t rated tires is 118 mph. I am missing the skip shift elliminator program and the top speed limiter program from my Diablo. I called the dealer on it and they said that I can either email them for instructions on downloading the performance tune and sending it to them to fix, or send them the programmer. I told them to send me the instructions and the one they sent does not match the menu options on my programmer. So now I am stuck until they open up on Friday (If they are even open then). I need some opinions on previous problems or what to do. I can't get a full dyno until the limiter is gone.
u need a new program for the skip shift eliminator, they can email u one. as for top speed limiter go into tune it or what ever, the first selection on the mail menu and then keep going until u can select adjust parameters and then u will see it from there. i cant get my predator hooked up right now to see

I can't do that either. I went to alter parameters and clicked on the speed limiter part, it says no program available. It isn't there. The menu is, but no program.

see, the other problem I have is that the menu lists on the instructions they sent me do not match the menu list on the predator. So therefore I have a performance download but cant get it changed into a readable format and moved to the pc to email. WTF

Kurt, the base tune was supposed to do that, but of course with my luck it did not. I was screwed out of some programs that I paid for. So I am a little disturbed with the company. Tomorrow will be interesting when I talk to them.

Verdad Gallardo mine says that smae thing, not available....i have a 2000 ws6 that came with z rated tires. that means the predator did its job and deleted the top speed limiter. put the stock tune in and see what it says. if u can adjust it then it did its job if u can then it didnt have one ...

It did not do its job, the car stalls, jerks, and so on at 118 mph. It has been that way since I bought it. What else would it be? I bought the car brand new and asked the dealer about it. They told me it was the safety setting because of the speed limiter.
damn i dont know. wonder what it might be. so i take it u tried that in 4th gear. did u try itin 5th? that seems weird to me. maybe u should try and reinstall the tune? if u havent already
yeah, go to the diable sport web site, thats where i sent mine back to. man its a hassle at first but i swear give it about 2 weeks and u will love it. and if u are gonna get custom tunes u will really love it

The biggest thing that gets me is that the advertisement for this thing says it includes all of that stuff. I shouldn't have to do anything but load and change things. This is a hassle. I am going to call them tomorrow and have them walk me through what they need on the phone. What a pain. I appreciate the feedback responses.

I just installed mine on monday it didnt eliminate the skip shift on mine either i contacted them and so far have been helpful and even offered to tweak the tune a bit which i hope helps because im a little underwelmed by the gains also i have picked up some detonation even with 100 octane in the tank which i will not be running all the time at $ 4.50/gal Im having alot of trouble interfacing the predator with my PC (cant get them to talk to each other) Im also anxious to see what tomm brings - I talked to a secretary there on wed afternoon and she tells me they are working tomm so...good luck bro
