I ran SD on my TA and it felt really strong, stronger then it ever has.. The day before I was going to the track to get some #'s the #7 ringland broke so I was unable to compare ET's.

Yep I run SD on my HCI LS1 and have zero complaints. Cold start is good, tip in is also smooth as well as anything partial throttle. I run some pretty steep compression so before the engine warms up fully the tune is put to the test trying to cover the not so smooth airflow in and out of the cylinders.

Just run the factory hybrid setup. A lot more consistant day to day and it will run just as well as being sd or maf. Run it open loop hybrid sd and maf. It may take more time to dial in but GM didn't use both systems for no reason at all. The MAF will use filtered airflow below 4000 rpm and the ve tables will take over for quicker throttle transitions. No reason to limit yourself to one of the other, use both.
