Default Here are my mods....how/where do I get it tuned?

So I am picking up my car in a couple days and I know it will need a tune, but wanted to get some suggestions. It is going from stock w/catback to have a lid, SLP 85mm MAF, NW TB 90, Fast 90 intake, Kooks longtube race headers w/y-pipe (BTW all the EGR and AIR system is being removed). What do you guys recommend for a tune?

BTW I know some people will probably say just buy the program and learn to use it, but to be honest I am just not that interested in learning to tune the thing and if I screw something up it can end up costing me a small fortune!

Buy the stuff and learn to do it yourself.

you may not want to hear it but that's the best choice. Or just find a reputable tuner in your area and get it done.

Any reputable mail order tuner should work fine if you don't have a "good" tuner local. Aside from the FAST 90 (which doesn't effect airflow tables that much) you have some of the most common mods. Mail order guys probably have those tunes coming out the wazoo.

Gotcha. I have read that there is a rather significant learning curve with the tuning. I guess my biggest concern is that I will destroy something in the process..ie the motor. Am I being overly worried? Also I am planning to stroke the motor this winter...I am realy concerned that a bad tune could jack things up then.

I recommend waiting until after you stroke the motor. If you aren't going to tune for yourself, there is no reason to pay twice.
