Default Suggested laptop for tuning with HPT.

getting HPT in a week or few. Whats a good laptop I can get. This will be used for tuning only pretty much. I have a desktop for the internet and media center. what size screen will i need? I see new 15" screen comps at best buy for around 350$, figure that might be good.

Also, anybody got a nice build up for a car-puter? I've been thinking of getting one of these put together as well.

Just buy a cheap laptop for tuning.... Any of the newer computers are more than capable of running HPtuners!

The newer 15.6" screen laptops are a great value...you get the numeric key pad and most of the dual core processors do a very good job even with vista(I prefer home premium).

Either an older Dell 14/12" Latitude, older 14/12" Thinkpad or one of the new netbooks that are in the 300 range at Best Buy (if you'd rather get something new).

But really any laptop will run that stuff fine, I prefer those first two because they are very solid and can handle light abuse since they are built tougher than normal laptops.
