Default Would it be wise to to have a back up PCM with mail order tunes??

Would'nt it make sense to just buy a new PCM to be tuned and keep the stock PCM that has been running fine for 71k on the shelf as a backup??
Car has mild bolt ons-headers, catted y, corsa, aftermarket lid with K&N and stalled...That way I could send the new PCM to Frost to do his magic and a back up "just in case"...Sorry, that's just my mentality..

Not really, If the pcm goes bad then you would still have to get it retuned. Only thing it will save is down time. PCM's do not fail on a regular basis.

Keeping a spare stock tuned PCM makes no sense. Your just in case theory is a nonsense.
