any free way to clear pcm of codes
got a gremlin that is coming and going with my car p0358 which has been going on for sometime even with the previous owner, i did not know this until it did it for me.. i am trying different fixes and i have it narrowed down, is there a way to clear the ses light/pcm without a scanner tool, possibly disconnect battery or somthing along them lines, that way i am able to try somthing and drive it to see if it comes back or not.. thanks
i am aware the code is ign misfire cyl 8, i ruled out the coil allready, im trying ign coil harness next or maybe try and ign coil relay(previous owner said that is what fixed it for him) im a real noob with ls1's (came over from team blue oval)
thanks guys

Another Noob Question...
From my reading if you unhook the battery any codes set will clear - OK. Does the computer have to go through a relearn process at all once you hook the battery back up? As mention above the tune is not affected but nothing goes away?
Thanks
