Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but can I get a PCM out of a '04 Silverado reflashed to be used in a '00 z28? I've built a LS1 swap harness using a '00 PCM pinout diagram and I just so happen to have a truck PCM lying around. I assume they are all the same with different programming, but I wanted to ask to be sure.

you can't do a direct reflash, a 2004 is a 1mb amd flash, where a camaro is a 512K intel flash processor.

Also, it is likely you 2004 truck pcm does not have the iac drivers installed.

Well the truck did come with a DBW harness...

So it won't work at all?

You'll have to use the truck OS with the truck PCM and DBW TB, but you can just move most everything over from the Camaro file.

Maybe one of the mail order tune sponsors will swap with you for the right PCM?
