Default What the hell is this INSIDE my pcm?

http://www.z28fabian.com/pcm.html

I took my pcm out this morning to send it for tuning and I heard some rattling. I took it apart and found what you see in the pics

The blue arrow points to the part thats fixed on the pcm and the red is the part that was loose. In the last two pics I turned it over and it has two pins. Any ideas as to where it should go? Anyone have any pics of a normal pcm?

Car seemed to run fine and everything but this has me kinda worried

Looks like a spare piece that got left in there.
Doesn't appear to have been soldered yet.

That's what I was thinking. I can't find where it would go. I just wish I could find a pic of another pcm. The wife has a WS6 and I guess I could take hers apart but she has a 2000 and mines a 2002 so I dont know if they would be exactly the same

It's a crystal.

The part that sets the operating frequency of the ECU.

As mentioned, it is a clock. It has never been used. I suggest gettng a glue gun and gluing it to the top of the processor, like a dead doggie with its legs in the air.
