Default Need a dyno tune in Pittsburgh

I am in the process of installing TSP 5.3 heads, tourqer V3 cam and all the bolt ons and i'm looking for a good tuner near Pittsburgh. I live in Indiana PA and I'd rather not drive any further than an hour away. Or do you think a mail order tune would be good enough? Any info would be much appreciated!

That sucks! Any chance you'll be back soon? ALso i have a question you may be able to answer. I plan on towing my car to wherever i get the tune done but i would like to start it up and make sure there are no leaks or complications before i take it anywhere. Is it safe to run it for a while at idle without a tune. I was told i could if i left the stock injectors in. Thanks!

I won't be back until the spring. The guys that set this trip up are planning to get a group together in the spring.

If you're going to start it, do it on the stock injectors for sure.

Search for PCMforless.com. I think he's located in Indiana, PA.

Thanks for the suggestion! I guess pcmforless moved to Ohio but they still have a Dyno they use in Sarver PA which is closer than Pitt for me so that will work out good!

You can try this place
ASAP - Auto Service & Performance by Ed - Home of ASAP Mustang Dyno
4768 William Flynn Highway
Allison Park, PA
(412) 492-7454

This is on Rt 8 near the PA Turnpike. Check his price for tuning on the Dyno. I think he uses HP Tuners.

If you find a good tuner in the Pittsburgh area let me know. I want to have my vette dyno tuned again.
