Default Identifying year of PCM and Harness

I'm wondering if you guys can help me identify the year/make/model of my PCM (if it's possible?).

The number on the PCM is 16238212.

Is there anyway to validate this came from a '98 LS1 M6 equipped car? Does it matter if this PCM was originally auto or M6?

Also, how do I identify if my engine harness is for a '98? The only thing I can see on it is the section that comes into the cabin. It's got a bar code and a sticker with #207561 and it has 3 plugs.

The other harnesses I have seen pictures of, the interior cabin section only has 2 plugs.

Any help will be appreciated!!!

Yes, its a 98.

The hardware is the same for manual or auto, however it can easily be reflashed for either if it's the wrong version for your application.

This might sound a little crazy, but I believe the 1998 harness uses a 3 pin connector for the coolant temp sensor, and 99-02 uses a 2 pin.
