Default SLP Diablosport tuner

Hey i was wondering if anyone has some info on this tuner? I want to know if it has a tune for headers on it so i can delete the rear O2 sensors? Also what other options are on it?

yes... the SLP version predators have slp-specific tunes on them that are meant to work in conjunction with their PowerPack bolt-on upgrade packages (headers, etc etc)....

so the rear O2's will be disabled in their preset/canned tune, since you can not disable them yourself in the adjustable parameters.

other things that you'll be able to adjust yourself include:

2nd one up from the bottom of the list.. . "adjust for different injector size"...

you'd go into "modify tune", and then you'd adjust the "injector slope" parameter to get your part-throttle fueling dialed in correctly...

I know which one on the list it is. I was just wondering the actual way you know how much to adjust on the slope. For instance if i do a couple WOT runs and data log it how do i know what to adjust by?

Good Question....As far as Handheld Tuners---this 1 seems to be the best one out for the $$ right now ( plus its on sale right now ) I am not an LS1 Wizard or anything but from what I have been looking at and talking to shops about ( DynoComp in Arizona )
They say its the best, and they even use Diablo Software. I am going to get the Programmer then Install it myself to cut down cost....Then take it to a SpeedShop and have them dial it in with about an hour of Dyno Time and Air / Fuel Ratio / Engine Management Tuning which should run approx. $ 125 to $ 175.00.
Thats what I will be doing next week--DynoComp wants $ 1900 for Corsa Catback plus install, DiabloSport Software install, 1-Hour Dyno-Time plus 30 mins for Engine Management. I can order the Corsa, Diablo and install on my own then take it to get it Tuned and save about $ 300 - $ 400.00

Good luck man.

no...

you would do some normal steady driving/cruising datalogs to get the fueling adjusted correctly...

here's info:

http://diablosport.com/index.php?nam...iewtopic&t=917

so basically, you'll find out the average LTFT's... and for example, if your average ltft's are at +4, then you'll want to adjust your injector slope to -5%...

if your average ltft's are at -6, then you'll want to adjust your slope to +5%...

you want to get your average ltft's to be in the 0 to -2 range...

so, after you make a slope adjustment, put on about 50-75 miles, then do a new steady driving/cruising log (during the same/very similar weather conditions as the previous one), and using the software mentioned, see what your average ltft's are at after your adjustment you made....
