Your prices are about right.

The $800 for Edit/laptop isn't bad if you plan on changing your setup and tune as you go.You should still tune it on a dyno which will cost some $$.

A dyno tune at a shop is good for people that have a final setup and want's someone to tune it that has experience.....

To bad your not in Ma..I offer Edit tuning for $450 and will do free upgrades to tuning for up to 2 years. So if you changed Cams or added Heads there is no tuning charge, just dyno time if needed.

I second Slowhawk's comment about getting a dyno tune on top of the edit package. It will be a much quicker and more accurate way of using the edit program, especially if the shop doing it is using a wideband to gauge the changes that are being made.

Isn't the shop doing the dyno tune using LS1 edit?

If money's not an issue get the ls1 edit yourself, this way you can make changes when you want to.

Yes or no..
You can have the shop dyno Edit tune the car or bring your own Edit and rent the dyno--meaning tune the car at WOT yourself..I highly recommend that even if you own Edit to dyno tune it for A/F.That way when you leave the shop and read your 02's,you will know what voltage ='s the A/F you disire for future tuning.
