Ok so I have a torquer 3 cam lol, stock heads , mac mids length headers, with cats....full tru duals... so... In colorado I could get the car to pass on 22 bottles of ISO HEAT on an empty tank... only once did I fail a visual... becuase I have no AIR OR EGR....tuned completly out..Idea no 1 for CA Emissions..
Hook up the Egr Valve and Air pump even know they dont work..? could that work?...I was thinking just leave the blockoff plates on the headers tho.. I have a old ls6 intake so it will still hook up with the EGR......also try the alcohol in the gas tank..
Mail order tune to put EGR and AIR back in? and hook them up.. and run it with the cam and some alcohol?
Or completly back to stock.......
ANY EXPERIENCE or Comments greatly appreciated...I did a search, jsut didn't get to much CALIFORNIA EMISSION related tho.
Getting it to pass is more a matter of finding a shop that doesn't know the difference between manifolds and headers and what EGR/AIR looks like.
