PO171 and PO174 help...
ok, so the car is throwing both of those codes, stating a lean condition in both banks. it is NOT throwing a code for either o2 sensor. I have LT's and TSP duals, and the car is untuned. so any suggestions on what might be causing the condition, because i dont have the money to just throw parts at it, IE: new o2's, etc, if i don't have a pretty good idea thats the problem. both o2 sensors are less than a year old btw

thanks kevin. i forgot to mention, the car has been down on gas mileage by about 2-3 mpg on average since the SES light came on, and it stumbles a little bit at idle and sometimes in the lower RPM range. i am assuming the mileage is being affected by the PCM dumping fuel in order to compensate for the lean condition? i may be comin to see ya for a tune once i get the break in miles on the transmission so i can go WOT again

good chance the o2s are bad because the coating from the headers kills an o2 sensor as it breaks in. Use a multimeter on the dc volts (0-1v) and see what it reads. It should bounce around from 100-900mV. o2 sensors usually fail low (lean)
