2, 3, or 4 02 Sensors?
I'm not at all familiar with programmng a PCM, so please pardon me if this question seems simple to some of you that have more exprience with these.
Here's my dilema, I'm in the procces of swapping an 03 (Tahoe) 5.3L into my 97 Cherokee and would like to have normal open and closed loop modes for better fuel management and emissions testing should it be re-instated in my area at some point.
Due to the limited amount of room under my rig, a dual exhast system isn't feasable. I'd like to be able to have the PCM read/respond to a single after-cat O2 sensor. Can the 03 PCM be programmed to accept 2 sensors after the headers and a single after-cat sensor?

Maybe I should clarify. The 03 motor is normally equipped with 4 sensors, 2 pre cat, 2 after cat. I want to eliminate just 1 after cat O2 sensor.
