Default Random Cylinder Misfire Code after Cam swap

I've been told this happens with big cams and is fixed with a custom tune, is this true or do I have a problem?

First go check for problems. Make sure all wires are on. Plugs are good. etc

If it's truly random that is probably just the cam lope
exceeding the misfire detect threshold. If you double
all the cylinder mode misfire values that aren't already
"dummied", it should settle down the bitching.

But you should look in the logs at Misfire Cylinder 1-8
for any signs that the misfires are "bunched" in some
cylinders, which would point to some imbalance in fuel
or spark.
