Default Tuning Question regarding injectors

I have Hooker LT's, Corsa Catback, 22x/22x cam, just installed a 92/90 set up, my question is will my car be ok and run smooth after a tune even though we still have stock injectors in the car, I'll be upgrading to 42lb'ers soon but as for now.

You'll be just fine on stock injectors, but if you go with some heads in the future then ya upgrade.

Yeah we tried to tune it today, but we've had hard showers all day long so its made it somewhat difficult, we noticed that the Bank 1 O2 Sensor was stuck at 100 and the injectors were constantly pouring fuel in to match it being stuck, thinking the sensor has water in it so tomorrow were gonna check that out, and we're having nasty cam surges too any suggestions would be appreciated.

A proper tune will fix the surge issue, you might be right about the o2, are you tuning this on the street or on a dyno?

I think you are at the max for those injectors. They will work but they are more than likely going to be over 90% duty cycle.

It's on the street, kinda hard to do anything good today, we have had flash floods all day, plus I'm riding around on some Sumi's lol. So just some good idle, stop and go cruisin today. Tomorrow I hope will give us some better results.

It's going to be kinda tricky tuning that cam on the street for low rpm steady state, might wanna get some dyno time in.

Just fitting a 212-218 (XR265-HR) with full exhaust on a post '99 LS1, takes the IDC above 80% at anything over ~5,500 @ WOT.
