Default HPTuners + Windows 7

I'm looking to get a new Laptop, but they are all shipping with windows 7 now. I can get one of those Mini notebooks that ships with windows XP if need be. the laptops ONLY use is to HP Tuners.

So will HP tuners work on a Windows 7 machine?

Yes it will, i have it installed on 2 windows 7 machines and it works beautifully. When you plug in the usb to the computer from the HP Tuners controller it will ask for drivers put in the hp tuners cd and tell it yes when the warning pops up about the driver and have fun !.

To add to what bigboykilroy said, IF you run windows 7 64 bit (or vista 64 bit) you just need to download the correct driver, a quick search on the HPTuners forum finds it. I've had no problems at all running on Windows 7 X64 on this computer, or perviously when I ran 32 bit Vista on it.

fyi you can run programs as any previous windows by right clicking on the program. i don't know if drivers written for a prior msw will work the same way.
