I have it, I now think its great, because it has the abilty to tune many gm cars and trucks, but if your just going to tune your car then HP tuners or something newer with a datalogger would be better.

I had the DST for about a week and sent it back. I could not find a serial to usb adapter that would would work. i really needed a computer with a serial port. I even tried to buy a computer with a serial and couldnt find one. Thanks to Jegs to for giving me a refund. I should have bought HP Tuners to begin with. HP is the way to go.

DST doesn't offer custom operating systems, you would need our Package for custom operating systems, I think efi offers something though as well for some applications.

If it is a serial to USB adapter, be aware that there are 2 chipsets out there that support this function. 1 works well with our cars, 1 does not. I used to work in the industry, which is where I found out there were 2 chipsets. I ended up going to Fry's Electronics and buying a couple, and returning the one that did not work. I did not get a brand name, unfortunately.

Us AVT people really like to use the "keyspan" brand USB/serial adapter.

There are a few diferent scanners that work with DST.
