Default 1999 Camaro Fuel Gauge not working after 1998 tank install

I installed a sumped 1998 fuel tank into a 1999 Camaro. I need to know what values in the computer need to be changed to make the 1999 fuel gauge read correctly.

Thanks

You would have to get a 99-2002 tune with a 98 fuel area segment swap. Best way is to get a 2001-2002 so you have adjustability of the IAT-ECT bias and no secondary VE table.

You can't swap segment between non-matching OS'.
I believe what is done when converting a 98 to 99+ PCM is a segment swap with
an Express Van.

Is the fuel tank unit from a 98 as well?
If not I wouldn't think anything would need to be changed.

The only way I've been able to get the fuel gauge to register anything was by raising the primary fuel volume. I wasnt able to use the above post since I'm using HPT instead of EFI Live.

You have to have the people at HPT do the segment swap for you.

I got this fixed without doing a fuel segment swap. I just scaled the primary and secondary fuel volumes from 0-90 ohms which is what the 98 sending unit reads. The 99+ reads from 40-250 so the range is the computer goes from 0-250 so all I had to do was start the fuel volume at 0 instead of 40 and end it at 90 instead of 250.
