Its been awhile, and I'm rusty
I'm working on my 68 C-10. It has a '05 5.3L in it. I believe the fuel injectors / fuel rail is from a 6.0L truck engine.
The ECM is from a '04 4.8L. I re-did the tune (HPtuner) to match that of my '05 silverado with a 5.3L (cause it should all be the same).
So right now the engine starts up and idles and should drive.....however I haven't had an alignment yet and my windshield is not installed so I can't drive it on the road yet (I pulled it out of the garage for the first time last weekend).
So here is my issue. At idle, my LTFT are pegged out at +25. Should I be concerned about this just sitting at idle? Does this mean that it's rich or lean? I can't remember. If I do need to correct it, do I start adjusting the primary VE table? Or are the injectors mismatched compared to the tune (I thought all of the truck injectors were the same)
I have camaro headers on it and a cold air intake with the MAF hooked up.
It will be a few weeks until I can actually drive it on the road, but I would have thought the tune would be pretty close to my silverado since other than the cold air intake and exhaust, the engine is stock.

well it means that you are running extremely lean as for the tune i wouldn't try to mess with it and make sure that you don't have any unmetered airflow into the engine between the maf and the engine monitoring o2 sensors

yeah, I was kinda wondering about that.
I bought some vacuum plugs tonight at the parts store to plug the vacuum hose line that is supposed to go to the valve covers for now (temporarily) and I siliconed a bolt and washer in place that is plugging the hole in the top of the manifold for some emissions sensor that I'm not using. I'll do some checking for any more leaks.
Thanks

well that was it, one of the two holes (or both) were leaking. I reset the fuel trims and let it idle for awhile and it settle in with 0 on the ltft.
Thanks for the help.
