Default looking for the best how to and learning info for useing HP tuners

Im looking to buy Hp tuners here real soon and was wondering whats the best book or info I can get to get me started. IM looking for some good step by step info with injector table and what ever would be needed to tune a heads and cam car with larger injectors. Maybe some tutorials also. Im tired of paying other people to tune my cars and not do such a good job of it.

The Greg Banish DVD is a good watch but expensive. The Masport book is very good along with Greg Banish books too.

I recommend the tuning school, I took one of their classes and learned a lot. They have an at home version as well, which I hear is very good as well.

Go to HP Tuners forum and read all the stickies. Lots of good info on here too ! Banish DVD is good but pricey. A school would be good but here again $$.

Just plug it in and use the scanner without making any changes.
Make some logs and look at all options there.

The DVD isn't very good for a beginner, the Masport book does the best at explaining how to tune, good examples and definitions.

If you have no clue about tuning with HPtuners then you need to buy
The Tuning Schools "Learn at home course" and then attend one of there live seminar class's. There books and live course's are for only HPTuners software only and is backed by HPtuners, so you know that you are learning from the best educated HPtuners out there.

Dan's book is a great read for somebody that has never done tuning before, he does a great job of explaining the operation of the PCM and how it controls the motor, it also gives several case studies.

He is also a vendor of HP tuners and I'm sure he'd offer you a package deal of the software and the book. On top of it all, he's a great guy to deal with

Everything you need to know is on the HP tuners forum. I didn't even know what a "good" afr was when I started. I read HP tuners forum and have properly tuned my ride

Tuning is like painting. Try some simple things out first, things you understand. You'll get familiar with the forums, and different styles of tuning. Read all you can. Don't expect it to sink in right away. You might adopt your own technique. If you do your own mods, you'll come up with novel solutions. Don't let it be a chore. It is tremendous fun.
