Will a PCM reflash at the dealer reset my tune?
Picking up a new car on friday, the car was dynotuned at magnacharger's facility. The owner told me he took the car to the dealer and had the PCM reflashed because of a problem with the seat memory system.
Trying to figure out if I need to get into contact with Magnacharger and get the tune re-loaded.
Thanks and Cheers!

"If I reset my PCM/Disconnect my Battery/Battery goes dead will I lose my tune?
---Nope... your tune is stored in flash memory... only way to lose it is if you reflash your PCM. It may idle poorly at first while the car is "relearning" how to idle however. This should only last a few minutes."
Said he had it done at the dealer so I'm assuming it was a Reflash?

Dealerships are limited, as I understand it, to STOCK, GM-approved bin files for your vin#. Anything else is out of their realm of possibilities.
Personally, I'm not understanding why in the world someone would modify/supercharge a vehicle....have it dyno-tuned....and even let a dealership have so much as a passing glance at the car, much less flash the ECU.
Curious though: don't things like seat memory run through the BCM instead of the PCM??

im assuming the vehicle your talking about is the cts-v. at the dealership we can only program them back to stock... but if i remember correctly there was a fix out there to reprogram the driver seat position module in order to fix an issue with the seats not moving in the appropriate direction. now that may be what he was talking about.
