LS3 recommend AFR
Now we have a 2010 Camaro SS and the ECM is commanding 11.2:1 AFR average at WOT.
Aside from sticking her on a dyno, does anyone know if the LS3 runs better with a lean(er) AFR like my L76 and LS1s I have seen?
cheers
My G8-GT is bone stock with exception of the intake from Roto-Fab. Averages in the 335 range RWHP. Depending on conditions, as high as 346 RWHP. Stock was a measily 287 RWHP. But I retained all stock exhaust out of fear of cabin drone while in 4-cyl mode. I figure it has it, why not use it for long trips. I tuned the DoD settings at can maintain 4-cyl mode up to 83 MPH and at that speed I nailed a sustained 28.4 MPG on a long trip a few months back.
So we added the Camaro SS/RS 6-speed to replace a 2008 Mustang GT 5-Speed totalled in a head on collision with a drunk and high driver. The Mustang was a blast because it lacked the HP to smoke the tires under throttle in a curve. The SS, will take sometime to learn.
Gonna focus on and around 13s and gonna watch for pings. Thanks!
