Default Simple (aka noob) question(s) :)

Very simple, I don't mind welding in a bung in my exhaust to permanently mount the wideband sensor.

...but, if I wanted to tune another car that the owner didn't want to (or even ask as a necessity) weld in a bung, street WOT tuning, can I use one of the factory O2 bungs located before the cats as a tap for the wideband sensor? Are there any drawbacks (O2 DTC codes) with this method and ways to remedy it? (turning off the code function?)

Also, since more than likely these banks will not merge, should one use a dual WB setup or is one sensor enough? More on that, why would you need to sensors, what kind of application would two sensors be required to safely tune a vehicle?

thanks!

One wideband is fine. If I was going to put the sensor in one of the factory holes I'd just keep the car in open loop with the codes diasabled until I took the wideband out and then fine tune with the fuel trims.

Will I be hindered in anyway and not be able to fine tune the car in open loop versus closed loop?

Also, do you fine tune part throttle /idle with the WB or can you just add/take-away fuel with the LT's with the narrow and only use the WB for WOT PE adjustments?
