Default lost power while flashing PCM

well it happened. I lost the power to my laptop while flashing my pcm and I cannot reflash it with Winflash. Any other suggestions or is the PCM fucked? I'm about ready to sell it. It seems like the only mod missing is a for sale sign these days.

Who's software are you using? TunerCat's winflash has PCM Recovery for one of its options, i didn't think any of the other tuning packages called it Winflash

TunerCATS has a standalone program called winflash. Now I still have the stock PCM file saved as a *bin and every subsequent *.bin file that I've loaded to my car. I have a copy of TunerCATS' RTTuner but I've not used it yet. I admittedly don't know a whole lot about tuning, as evident by my ridiculous use of a laptop that had the potential to lose power. Can I use CATS RTTuner to do some sort of recovery or did I brick the ******?

Not seeing a recovery option in the winflash that I have. Or can I unplug the battery and reset the PCM and try to get it to communicate? Hmmmm. Should be a fun day tomorrow.

More than likely your PCM is toast, I was tuning a car this past weekend and at 70% upload for some reason communication stopped and so did the PCM...

Once in a while I have been able to remove the pcm fuse, key on, then off and put the fuse back in and re-establish communication, but this time it was a no go, I cannot read it anymore without the error code. If its an OBD1 PCM Andrew Mattie of AKM cables can repair those...
