Default Help! How to put tunes on my EfiLive v2

I read somewhere I can put tunes on my EfiLive V2 handheld and then put them on my truck without the laptop. If so, HOW? If I put a .tun file on my V2 it wont recognize it...

I don't think they released the upgrade to do it yet, unless you're one of their beta testers

I think they now have a public release (Black Box Logging).

Might check out their website..

It doesn't work with a .tun file. Re-save the file as a .ctd file in the tune tool (I think that's what I saw them come out as).

It works great. I've been doing plenty over the last week.

You have to have the March 30th 2010 release of both software/firmware.

You have to copy to V2 the correct _R and _W files for your PCM.

Like macca said, save an existing .tun file as .ctd, copy it to V2...

take V2 to vehicle, go down the Tune Tool menu, select Program and select the .ctd file...

confirm Yes, and wait for the progress bar to finish (about 23-25 seconds).
