inaccurate fuel gauge or someone is stealing my gas? ha i just bought a 99 z28 and the only problem im having with it is the fuel gauge reading. well i hope thats what it is. i start the car in the morning on a full tank and left it just idling for about 10 minutes, and in that little bit of time the gauge dropped 1/8. then driving throughout the day went about 55 miles and its below the half tank mark. would it really be eating gas like crazy? or could it just be a bad reading?
