Getting the right WOT AFR and spark, that's straightforward
enough (presuming your setup isn't sloshing all over the place,
to the point of fresh sensors etc.).
But drivability, making it run best across -all- environmentals
(not just on the rollers, one day), etc. takes way more shop
time than you would want to pay for, so you're better off
with the tools than renting the talent (and knowing the real
talent, from just another guy who bought a setup, is not so
easy; even referrals, there's too much
out there).Of course developing your own talent takes effort and some
luck in the "learning from mistakes" department (best to learn
from others').
