Default Going from DBW to cable TB question

On a C5 which is set up for a drive-by-wire throttle body, if I switch to a cable driven throttle body(s), can I still use the factory pcm or will I have to switch to BS3 or FAST system?

You won't have the IAC to control idle RPM. The TB will
have the hardware, but odds are the 'vette PCM lacks
the driver components for it.

You could go shade-tree and drill an idle air bore with set
screw... if you're running 9s I bet it eats plenty of air and
doesn't care so much if it idles at 800RPM one day and 900
the next. For that matter you could have a vac hose to the
cabin and a bleed valve there, and control idle RPM from the
seat.

Up to 2003 the vette used a 411 PCM and in 2004 it switched to the 6243 PCM, both of these PCM's have IAC derivers in them and have DBC OS's availiable for them, so yes you could use it, if its amongst those years
