when is a rich idle with a cam too rich?

The short circuiting you get from a cams increased overlap will have your wideband reading lean, not rich at idle. I found with my cam around 15.2 on the wideband gives me the best idle quality. You will need to experiment to find what yours likes.

I just checked my CL idle and it's between .96-.97 Lambda and the fuel here is e10 93 oct. (all the pumps say up to 10%)
If I turn the o2's off it idles right at Lambda 1.00 (LTFTare always off)
it might be my conversion of AFR to Lambda that is making it look like this.
does this sound about right? I have ran it some with an OL idle but I got some misfires.
