Question HPT Question about Desired Idle Airflow

Should I set my base Idle airflow to where I am seeing the Desired Idle airflow with HPT? In Grams a sec when motor is cold it is way off.I see at 68 degree ECT desired Idle Airflow is 21.92 g/sec and my base Idle air in my tune is 17.28 g/sec at 68 should I change it?Thanks

What is the "desired idle airflow" is this a pid in the scanner? Any clarification would be appreciated.

It is a PID... It is often logged and used to populate the idle airflow or base running airflow table.
