Default Bolt ons & big cam...what PCM do you recommend?

I need a new PCM for my 98 LS1 setup with full bolt ons, TSP True Dual exhaust and TSP 233/239 cam...should make around 425 rwhp. A guy I spoke to recommended getting the 99-02 PCM because it responds better to big set ups, but i'd have to get a new gauge cluster and mess with the pins in the connectors. Or i can just get a replacement 97-98 PCM. Anyone have any advice?

well if you need a new one then you might as well do the 99+ one since it has more capabilities. You dont have to change the cluster though, just re-pin it. Or just stick with a 98 one plug it in and tune it. In my book the 233/239 isn't to big of a set up and I wouldn't imagine the 98 pcm giving you to many issues.
